Forest Tales runs from 9am to 3pm for children aged 5+ and 9am to 1pm for 4-year-olds.

Our camps are designed to make the children comfortable with the outdoors – we loosely structure our days with fun themes, introduced with a “thought seed” during our morning welcome circle. The kids are then encouraged to take a moment to think about the theme and what their own interpretation might be and then, with the help and support of our amazing team, the children bring their ideas to life. If the child comes up with an idea completely unrelated to the theme – that’s great! If the child doesn’t want to create anything and would rather spend the day climbing trees – that’s great too! Our team of leaders are always there to support your child in having their own unique and self-guided experience.

While the activities we offer are ever-changing, a typical day at Forest Tales would include:

Minecraft Mondays – Due to it’s popularity, we do a Minecraft theme every Monday! The children are given a series of missions to complete (if they want to – we’re child-led, remember!): mine for resources, create stable and watertight dens, craft tools and weapons, and finally, survive the creeper attack! We also have lots of other activities for children to do if they don’t want to play real-life Minecraft.
